Central Park is one of my favorite places to capture couples in NYC. I love hitting iconic spots and getting those key shots, but one of my truly favorite things to do is weave around the paths less traveled in Central Park. Sometimes it is easy to forget about the secret little pockets that exist all over NYC. These are my favorite places to explore and photograph my couples.

Soulmates in Central Park: A Romantic & Goofy Love Story

Well world. This is weird ain’t it? I haven’t shared much of anything since the beginning of COVID-19. Mainly because I was trying to get my thoughts together on what I wanted to say. I, like many, have been postponing shoots, events, even weddings but I am keeping my chin held high. My clients, family and friends have been so wonderfully supportive and helpful during this time and for that I am so thankful. I will be making another blog post soon with some advice and tips on eloping and changing up your wedding day a bit amongst the chaos! In other news… THIS. COUPLE. These two are so killer and seeing their photos made me smile today so I wanted to share them. We had such a blast in Central Park playing in the leaves and messing around. Clearly from the photos, these two know how to have fun but also so deeply in love. These two lovely humans have also been doing some amazing live entertainment during this crisis via their instagrams! Sunrise Cliffside Engagement in Waimea Canyon, Hawaii

A Romantic and Moody Sunrise Engagement Shoot at Waimea Canyon in Kauai, Hawaii. Cliffside with a sprinkle of rain, Hawaii is perfect.

Hawaii was a magical land filled with random rain storms and bright pockets of sunshine. I fell in love with the people, landscape, and weird weather patterns. Hannah and David were an amazing couple and took us to the top of Waimea Canyon. We met at sunrise when it was still dark out and shot into the early morning. The moody rain of Hawaii we captured was stunning for these engagement photos. Kauai was nothing short of perfect.

“Waimea Canyon in Kauai, Hawaii is an incredible location for an engagement or elopement and is affectionately referred to as “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific”. Waimea Canyon is 10 miles long, a mile wide, and more than 3, 000 feet deep.”

“Kauai’s infamous red dirt. Consider it an island souvenir from Hawaii’s Garden Isle. The deep red dirt covers roadways, sidewalks, buildings and cars; it even makes its way into the ocean and rivers during heavy rainfall.”

K + N | Houston Hall, NYC

A party with a ton of surprises, this day was absolutely epic. I love NYC weddings because they always end up being total bangers. K + N are a one of a kind couple that I have known now for a few years. The whole day was perfectly set up with little Star Wars touches throughout the brunch tables and the entrance as well as florals that were just beyond stunning. Plus they played a game that I have never heard of before called THUNDERSTRUCK. It’s where you listen to the ACDC song Thunderstruck and chug beer one after the other while the song plays and switch when they say Thunderstruck again. They say it a lot in that song FYI: Hence the beer chugging photos.

A | Boudoir

Boudoir photography is always such a wonderful experience. Being able to coach women through this process starting at the very first initial emails where we chat about music, outfits, what kind of champagne we want to drink and more. Boudoir photography is the ultimate femme power shoot. I always end up so amped up and excited before during and after these shoots and I can always tell that my babes feel the same. If you’re feeling scared or nervous or feel like you have no reason to do a boudoir shoot, you are wrong! They are so empowering and fun and I promise you will end up leaving feeling like the goddess badass babe that you are. Reach out! Let’s talk about your questions and concerns.

C + F | Inwood Hill Park NYC

Getting to know these two humans was an absolutely breath taking experience. Their love has stemmed from early years in high school and long walks in Inwood Hill Park at the very tip of Manhattan in NYC. I was granted the opportunity to take a walk through the park with them, learn their story, and photograph this little styled elopement. I could not have been more excited with the way these images came out. These two were down for everything and were the most fun to work with. Photographing elopements is a passion of mine and I hope to incorporate this more into my work this year.

K + D | Saint Paul, MN

I have known K since high school speech team. We were always the goof balls making jokes, being too loud, and constantly laughing. Well clearly she is still doing that today and I love her for it. This man makes her laugh so hard it made ME laugh so hard. I don’t think any of us stopping smiling the whole shoot because we had so much darn fun together.

M + A | The W Hotel South Beach, Miami

Talk about WOW. I was so amped to head to Miami for this beautiful beach side wedding. M + A are two wonderful humans I have known for a little over a year now. They are gracious, kind, and down to earth bad ass humans. Photographing this wild jam with sand between my toes was beyond one of my favorite things ever. Thank you for having me guys I can’t wait to see you again soon!

T + B | Museum of Modern Art NYC

The venue was unlike anything I have ever dreamed. A rooftop next to the met garden with full access to the sculpture garden. T + B are two gentleman who know how to dance, party and get down with their squad.

J + B | Nostrano Vineyards, NY

Julianne and Billy had a beautiful barn wedding in Upstate, NY. They got married under a giant willow tree with a chandelier and string lights underneath (I totally typed string cheese at first, I mean I would get married under string cheese) This group partied into the night and knew how to throw a killer dance party. Cheers to their amazing marriage!

E + M | Stony Point, NY

Elena and Mario had such a dreamy wedding day. They had family visiting from Brazil and Argentina and some of them have never been to the U.S. before. It was so special to watch them love and spend time with their family on their wedding day. There was so much joy and happiness throughout the entire day I thought my heart was going to explode with joy! What an amazing day.
