R + Y | South Street Seaport, NY
This couple was such a blast to shoot. Rosy and Yosef were visiting NY from Miami but are originally from Mexico City. New York is one of their favorite places to travel and for this trip they were able to leave the kids at home and come have some much needed adult time. We walked around South Street Seaport and got some great shots of the them in the city.

Upstate Roaming Co Collaboration
Over the past 3 days I was deep in the woods of Upstate NY working on a collaboration with Ashwinn Upstate Roaming Co. I discovered this amazing company by stumbling on their Instagram (@roamingconyc) after Ashwinn liked one of my images. We then built a bond over the outdoors and creating new imagery for this adventure company's website and social media.

Ashwinn's Upstate Roaming Co is a very unique company. They straight up drop off a fully outfitted badass Jeep Wrangler right to your front door stocked with camping gear for up to 5 people. I mean, could you really ask for much else? From top of the line tents, sleeping pads and sleeping bags from Big Agnes to relaxing hammocks by Kammok. Ashwinn really thought of it all when packing up the Jeep, it's got all the cooking gear, first aid kit, even a deck of cards and all kinds of flash lights so you can explore at night. I had such a serene and stunning camping trip that was chocked full of food, bourbon, motoring, and relaxation. See for yourself in the images below what you can discover and experience with Ashwinn's Upstate Roaming Co!

Woof! Look at that spread!! And there was MORE!
Tent set up, light rainbows, dog face!
Let the games begin...
Cooking some cheesy veggies with Lodge
Dinner coming together on night 1
In the works, I was super helpful by sitting down and drinking bourbon most of the time.
Ok I helped.
If this doesn't look good to you you're probably a psychopath. Roasted portabello burgers with Vermont white cheddar and roasted tomato with thyme on a foccacia roll. Side of cast iron broccolini with fingerling potatoes, more cheese, and chopped chilis.
My cooking champion on a little evening stroll by the lake.
So much praise to the moon and the stars!
Good morning day 2 and dirty hands
Wake up, shoes on, fire built, coffee and tea made.
Off the beaten path
Wishing I was back here gazing at these gorgeous mountains
Time to pack up for bed time. Long exposure.
Stay tuned for the rest of the images from the trip coming in tomorrow! It's the rest of day 2 and the morning of day 3!
Point Reyes, CA
Another day on the road meant another day with the wind tugging at my hair, the calming scent of the sea breeze, and the slight pain of not having cruise control. Driving to Point Reyes was another journey at left me in awe. Every turn a new sight to see, a new quirky town, or another giant towering Redwood tree. Once I arrived at Point Reyes, I happily had the beach to myself.

Once I arrived at Point Reyes, I happily had the beach to myself. I landed right around golden hour which as we all know, is totally amazing. I was welcomed by a few seals that quickly scurried back in to the water and to the distant barks of elk that were living on the preserve. I wish I could have spent more time on this beach, but driving down those crazy windy roads at night through the forest seemed like something to be saved for another day.
Pacific Coast Highway
As any traveler who has experienced even just a segment of the Pacific Coast Highway, one knows the true magic of those long winding roads. I spent only one day driving from San Fransisco to Big Sur and back. I was hoping to continue further but there was a bridge out and I had to turn back.

I spent only one day driving from San Fransisco to Big Sur and back. I was hoping to continue further but there was a bridge out and I had to turn back. The encapsulating mist from the ocean, the cool forest floor within the Redwoods, each part of the highway constantly changing. This little day trip has inspired another trip that will involve a few weeks, a boy, and a dog.
Land's End, San Fransisco
After a few obstacles I had to overcome, I finally rented a car in San Fransisco and made it out to Land's End and took a stunning hike as the sun was going down.
