Central Park is one of my favorite places to capture couples in NYC. I love hitting iconic spots and getting those key shots, but one of my truly favorite things to do is weave around the paths less traveled in Central Park. Sometimes it is easy to forget about the secret little pockets that exist all over NYC. These are my favorite places to explore and photograph my couples.

Soulmates in Central Park: A Romantic & Goofy Love Story

Well world. This is weird ain’t it? I haven’t shared much of anything since the beginning of COVID-19. Mainly because I was trying to get my thoughts together on what I wanted to say. I, like many, have been postponing shoots, events, even weddings but I am keeping my chin held high. My clients, family and friends have been so wonderfully supportive and helpful during this time and for that I am so thankful. I will be making another blog post soon with some advice and tips on eloping and changing up your wedding day a bit amongst the chaos! In other news… THIS. COUPLE. These two are so killer and seeing their photos made me smile today so I wanted to share them. We had such a blast in Central Park playing in the leaves and messing around. Clearly from the photos, these two know how to have fun but also so deeply in love. These two lovely humans have also been doing some amazing live entertainment during this crisis via their instagrams! K + N | Houston Hall, NYC

A party with a ton of surprises, this day was absolutely epic. I love NYC weddings because they always end up being total bangers. K + N are a one of a kind couple that I have known now for a few years. The whole day was perfectly set up with little Star Wars touches throughout the brunch tables and the entrance as well as florals that were just beyond stunning. Plus they played a game that I have never heard of before called THUNDERSTRUCK. It’s where you listen to the ACDC song Thunderstruck and chug beer one after the other while the song plays and switch when they say Thunderstruck again. They say it a lot in that song FYI: Hence the beer chugging photos.

C + F | Inwood Hill Park NYC

Getting to know these two humans was an absolutely breath taking experience. Their love has stemmed from early years in high school and long walks in Inwood Hill Park at the very tip of Manhattan in NYC. I was granted the opportunity to take a walk through the park with them, learn their story, and photograph this little styled elopement. I could not have been more excited with the way these images came out. These two were down for everything and were the most fun to work with. Photographing elopements is a passion of mine and I hope to incorporate this more into my work this year.
